The Red Hot Tips Advisory Group are looking for new members

The Red Hot Tips program is intended for farmers and landholders who are responsible for large tracts of land in rural Tasmania. The program aims to educate, engage and support landholders to actively manage their bushfire risk; encouraging collaborative vegetation fire management and ecological sustainability across the landscape. 

Red Hot Tips Advisory Group members provide design and delivery advice, with strategic oversight, to the Red Hot Tips program.

The Red Hot Tips program needs Red Hot Tips Advisory Group members who can: 

  • Help with developing program resources and support tools
  • Provide advice on how to best engage with stakeholders
  • Advise on marketing and program promotion
  • Help with program evaluation, performance and monitoring

The Red Hot Tips Advisory Group is looking members who have: 

  • Demonstrated skills in land management, bushfire management and/or rural engagement
  • Broad established networks and communication abilities
  • A capacity to make decisions or influence their organisation, community, or industry.
