The members efforts all too often go un-noticed, but the TasFarmers only prospers when it has people of like mind and good intent who work together for outcomes.
The TasFarmers has to be constantly in the ear of government, fighting for opportunities and our rights.
To do our job properly, we must know what is going on within the various sectors of agriculture – dairy, meat, wool, horticulture, irrigation, and marketing. That means on the ground as well as in those forums where policy develops.
The best people to provide and consider that advice are the farmers themselves.
