Rural Youth Tasmania is thrilled to announce that 10 finalists for the 2024 Woolworths Young Farmer of the Year Competition have been selected following highly competitive Runoffs held at Quercus Park on Saturday, 27 July.
These outstanding individuals have demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication, earning their place in the final of this prestigious event.
The finalists are:

Charlton Skirving Jordan Burr
Chelsea Rayner Mathew Wadley
Chloe Temple Zac Leonard
The final will take place at Quercus Park on Saturday, 24 August 2024, where the finalists will vie for the coveted title of 2024 Woolworths Tasmanian Young Farmer of the Year. Competitors will engage in a series of challenging modules designed to test their farming expertise, innovation, and problem-solving abilities.
The winner will be announced at a special dinner following the completion of the daytime modules. This year’s competition boasts a substantial prize pool valued at over $50,000, reflecting the significant support from our dedicated sponsors.
