Inaugural Tasmanian Regional Development Champions 2024

The Inaugural Tasmanian Regional Development Champions 2024 is set to take place on 23rd October 2024 in Launceston, celebrating individuals who are driving positive change across Tasmania’s regional communities.

Nominations are now open for those who have made significant contributions to their local areas. Whether they are innovators, leaders, or advocates, this event aims to recognize and honor their efforts. Multiple team members or stakeholders involved in a project can be nominated across several categories. Nominations close on Friday, 27th September 2024.

  • The Hon Catherine King MP – Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, and Local Government
  • Senator Anne Urquhart
  • Deputy Premier Michael Ferguson
  • Council Mayors and CEOs
