Felicity Richards has announced that enrolments are now open for the Low Stress Stockhandling School for Tasmanian kids, to be held near Carrick, Launceston. Places are strictly limited to 24 participants, with a waitlist to follow if demand exceeds capacity.
WHAT: A hands-on program teaching children (ages 6–16) the fundamentals of low stress sheep and cattle handling, delivered by expert trainer Nic Kentish.
WHERE: Near Carrick, Launceston
WHEN: 8–9 November 2025
COST: $200 inc GST per child (thanks to industry sponsors covering 50% of costs). Proceeds will go to Farmsafe Australia.
