National farmer sentiment survey release at NFF Leaders' Summit

The National Farmers' Federation will unveil concerning results from the National Farmer Priority Survey, revealing farmer confidence in Federal Government policies has plummeted by up to 39% compared to the same time last year.

The survey of more than 1,000 farmers across the nation found growing unease across a range of issues compared to last year.

The survey results was released at the NFF Leaders' Summit, a biennial event where 200 industry and political leaders gather in Canberra to tackle the challenges and opportunities facing agriculture as it progresses its goal to become a $100 billion industry by 2030.

The survey was in-field from 6 – 15 August 2024.
