Emergency Response Grants for primary producers

Up to $15 million in targeted funding is being made available to support councils, businesses, community groups and an animal hospital in areas significantly affected by the severe weather event in Tasmania on 13 and 14 October 2022.

These grants are available to small businesses and primary producers in the following Local Government Areas: Break O’Day, Burnie, Central Coast, Central Highlands, Circular Head, Devonport, Dorset, Flinders, George Town, Kentish, Latrobe, Launceston, Meander Valley, Northern Midlands, Waratah-Wynyard, West Coast and West Tamar.

Tier 1: an initial one-off amount of $2,500 - Closed
Tier 2: a subsequent one-off amount of up to $22,500

Tier 1: CLOSED
Tier 2: 2pm Friday 30 June 2023

Tier 2 grants are only available to existing applicants who have received a Tier 1 grant.
