Farmers are invited to attend Water Sales Drop in Days for the Tamar Irrigation Scheme

Please join the Tamar team to:

• Learn about the redesigned 13,500-megalitre Tamar Irrigation Scheme and water sales process
• Ask questions and meet the Tamar project team
• Seek assistance with water sales application forms, which can be submitted prior to 29 February 2024

• The redesigned $165 million Tamar Irrigation Scheme has the capacity to deliver high-reliability irrigation water to the Beaconsfield, Legana, Rowella, Hillwood, Pipers Brook and Pipers River areas
• Farmers can apply for water entitlements until 29 February 2024 to demonstrate commitment to the scheme
• It will never be cheaper to purchase water from this scheme as the current price of $2,450 per megalitre is only available during this water sales process
