Agriculture Sustainability Independent Chairperson

Do you want to make a change, do you have a passion for Agriculture, and issues like renewables, climate change emissions, carbon farming, sequestration and environmental stewardship to be progressed for the benefit of the Tasmanian agricultural sector, and through the supply chain?

If this sound like you, the TFGA is now calling for Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced people to be considered for the position of Chairperson for the strategically aligned Agriculture Sustainability Council (ASC).

The Council will work to provide strategic advice to the Board on relevant matters.

For this vital, forward-thinking Council, the Chairperson of the ASC will need to possess and be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and ability to act as a trusted thought leader, with a passion for sustainable agriculture to drive discussions on common industry wide issues and the development of meaningful actions.

This will enable issues such as renewables, climate change emissions, carbon farming, sequestration and environmental stewardship to be progressed for the benefit of the Tasmanian agricultural sector, through the supply chain.

To play a vital part in this important sustainability focus, please provide an Expression of Interest outlining your experience in Sustainability, Agribusiness, Environmental Stewardship and Chairing high level committees along with a current Curriculum Vitae to reception@tfga.com.au
