Day 1 of Agfest 2023 4 May 2023

05 May 2023

Brilliant blue skies saw patrons flock to day 1 of Agfest 2023. A crowd of 12,100 enjoyed a fantastic day at Quercus Park with over 550 exhibitors and a wide range of entertainment.

His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor of Tasmania Alan Blow officially opened the three-day event.

Agfest Chairman Caine Evans said “The beautiful weather really set the scene for a memorable day with many highlights. The appearance of the United States Ambassador is a memory we will hold on to and we feel privileged she chose to attend Agfest.”

Access to Agfest went smoothly with the car parks in great condition and no problems are foreseen for the final two days of the event.

Patrons enjoyed the return of the animal nursery and the Ag machinery demonstrations, both of which proved a popular feature all day. Woodchopping also attracted good crowds in its debut.

Tickets remain on sale for the final two event days. All tickets must be purchased online and there will be no gate sales. Tickets can be purchased from www.agfest.com.au
