AgriFutures Rural Women's Award
Applications for the 2024 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award and Acceleration Grant are now open until 5pm 25 October 2023.
The Rural Women’s Award is open to all women involved in rural and emerging industries, rural and regional businesses, and rural and regional communities. These Awards are for projects which have passed the planning stage and are now live. Each state and territory Winner receives a $15,000 Westpac grant for their project, business or program, access to professional development opportunities and alumni networks. Please note the Westpac grant may now be used for capital items to expand or improve your project, business or plan
Applications close 5pm ~ 25th October, 2023
Please note if you have been a State Finalist you are eligible to apply for the Awards. However, if you were a State or National Winner, you are ineligible to apply for the Awards
AgriFutures Rural Women's Acceleration Grant
The Acceleration Grant aims to provide Australian women with learning and development opportunities, upskilling them so they can bring their idea, cause, or vision to life.
Seven Australian women per annum will be granted with a learning and development bursary (not cash) of up to $7,000 for professional development to enable them to bring their idea, cause or vision to life.
It will run separately to the Rural Women's Award; however it will complement the process, aiming to provide a leadership and development opportunity to women who are not quite ready to apply for the Award.
