AGRICULTURAL LEARNING CENTRE AT AGFEST

The Hagley Farm School Ag Learning Centre had a 'cracking' good time at Agfest this year!

Again, we teamed up with the TFGA and their business partners in Sixth Avenue and shared stories, ideas, technology, made plans and future bookings and introduced 10 newly hatched chicks to more than one thousand visiting children and family members!

We also attended an awesome forestry industry celebration, where to our surprise, we were part of the show as industry support of our soon to be planted Native Species Interactive Shelterbelt plans were shared. Clearly this partnership and project is seen very positively by the industry and again shows how our Ag Learning Centre and associated farm environment is widely and highly respected.

A huge thanks to Grayson Genders, Kellie Morris and Hugh Christie from the TFGA who spent a lot of time and effort creating a super welcoming site, meeting and supporting their members, linking them up to politicians and organisations and still finding time to make sure we knew how appreciated our presence was (as well as sneaking a lot of chick time!)

We provide a united voice

As the largest advocacy group in Tasmania and the only one that focuses exclusively on farming and the rural sector, the future of Tasmanian agriculture is our focus.
