TFGA @ Red Meat Updates

On Friday the 29th July TFGA staff members Kellie Morris (Membership Manager), Bonnie Kenner (Policy Advisor), Jane Goldsworthy (Project Officer) and Marcus McShane (Acting CEO) attended the Red Meat Updates at the Tramsheds, Launceston.

What started as a cold winters day turned into a day of listening and learning from a range of industry leading speakers doing exciting things within the agricultural space. The day provided focused presentations on sustainable futures, irrigated and dryland pasture updates, beef and sheep updates as well as virtual farm tour of ‘Connorville.’

It was also a fantastic opportunity for us as staff to discuss a variety of topics with Tasmanian producers ranging from the current threat of FMD to EID’s in sheep.

We would also like to congratulate the Red Meat Updates Committee on all their hard work in putting together this event as well as the sponsors that also took part. We look forward to attending again next year!
