Join Resilient Farming Tas, the TAS Farm Innovation Hub and invited experts for a workshop linking climatic projections, farm management challenges and opportunties, and the things you can do to prepare for them.

Climate scientist, Tom Remenyi, will explain weather forecasting, seasonal outlooks, and climate projections with a focus on mixed grazing in northeast Tasmania. Knowing this, we’ll work together to identify specific climate risks and opportunities, and what strategies you can put in place to manage for future climate variability.

Rowan Smith, TIA Research Fellow, will introduce the new project ‘Pasture 365’, looking into pasture mixes that are more resilient to changing climatic conditions.

Experts include:

  • Ben Leditschke, Moore Australia
  • Jason Lynch, Pinion Advisory
  • Rowan Smith, TIA
  • Tom Brown, Rabobank
  • Tom Remenyi, Acclimatised

Morning/afternoon tea and lunch provided.
